Margaret Carlough, DC, grew up in Short Hills, NJ. She went to school briefly in Maine before going to Oxford, Ohio, to Western College for Women, as it was then (it is now part of Miami University).

She tried several jobs before going to White Plains, NY, to work for IBM. There she met Eugene Carlough to whom she has been happily married for 35 years, mostly living in East Chatham, NY.

Their son Will grew up and went to local schools, then Vassar. He now lives in Brooklyn and works in Manhattan.

Dr. Margaret started her chiropractic education at New York Chiropractic College, and finished at University of Bridgeport, College of Chiropractic, in Bridgeport, CT. She is grateful to Teshna Beaulieu for her support before, during and after that schooling.
